ASI: Last Tower of Babel

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

²  And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

³  And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

⁴  And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

⁵  And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

⁶  And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

⁷  Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

⁸  So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

⁹  Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Genesis 11:1-9

We live in an era where communication is of utmost importance, where language is no more a barrier, where borders are just lines we have crossed a million times. This was not the case until a few decades back. A European had to learn Mandarin to speak with the Chinese, but now with translators, with a single click.

Within the last few hundred years, scientific advancements have been like no other, especially the last two decades, with the latest being AI, and some considering it to be the greatest invention yet. AI is one of the very few technologies that even it’s creators don’t understand. Due to the non-deterministic approach of neural networks (which are the building-blocks of AI), it is impossible to conclude why an AI model gave a certain response.

An all-knowing all-powerful tool. One that’s never been before. One that makes you god-like. These are the lies which are being slowly injected into the minds of the people. We can see a being in the bible who wanted to be like GOD. He thought in his heart, that he would ascend to the heavens and place his throne above the stars of GOD but he was cast down to Sheol. Satan infused the same prideful sin in Eve, by telling that she would become like GOD, if she eats the fruit. We can see the same with the tower of babel. They wanted to make a name for themselves. They wanted to be known for reaching the heavens on their own.

It was never about the fruit, it was never about the tower. It was about the pride in your heart. We are already being forced into using AI, and the ones who don’t, would be deemed unproductive. As Revelation 13:17 says, no one would be able to buy or sell unless he/she has the mark. We have started to step from ANI (Artificial Narrow Intelligence) to AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and ASI is not far away.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:12

Like GOD coming down during the time of tower of babel, the second coming of CHRIST is near.

We are yet to see what GOD does with the ones that rebel against HIM. For the ones that were building the tower of babel, HE stirred their language. They were not able to understand each other. They finally left each other and was scattered across the earth. Exactly opposite to what they devised in their prideful heart.
